What does a typical build look like?

A typical project usually starts with a part-converted van that is ready for woodwork, with a rough plan already in place.

The services I provide include laying vinyl flooring, carpeting door pillars, battening, lining walls, ceilings and doors, building bathrooms, kitchens, cupboards, cabinets and beds, and installing bespoke furniture.

Appliances, sinks and hobs can also be fitted ready for the next stage of the build. Plumbing and painting services are available on request.

Common questions

Thinking about carpentry?

What does a typical job look like? +

Most jobs follow seven stages — contact, discussion, estimate, preparation for interior, battening and lining preparation, cabinetry, and final fit out. The scope changes with every van and every customer. See the full process on the homepage or watch a build series on YouTube →

Can you work on my van make/model? +

Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, VW Crafter, Citroën Relay, Peugeot Boxer and similar large panel vans — plus smaller bases like the VW Transporter. Send Jason a message → with your van details if in doubt.
