"We couldn’t be more pleased with the van conversion Jason carried out — it’s absolutely first-class. "
"We could not recommend Jason enough. He did some work on 2 of our vans. The work was exceptional, reasonably priced and Jason kept us up to date with every step."
"If, like I did, you've started a van conversion and are realising just how much of your time it actually takes up....just how many tools you need to buy to only use the once... or, how hard you need to think to remember what stage of the build you were at when you last worked on it... then you need Jason."

Questions people ask.
What services do you offer?
My main focus is the woodwork build - walls, ceilings, door lining, cupboards, beds, storage and bathrooms. I can do plumbing of sinks and showers. I also add carpet trim to small areas such as the door frames to blend in nicely with the woodwork and hide the paintwork. On several occasions I have laid the floor with vinyl. I can help out with insulation however this is usually done by the customer.
Do you do full conversions?
Most of my work is partial conversions — joining existing self-build projects to handle the woodwork side. I can do basic full conversions without gas and electric on request.
Where is the workshop?
Southwater, West Sussex — a village just outside Horsham. You bring the van to the workshop for the carpentry stage.
How long does a campervan carpentry job take?
It depends on the scope. A bespoke kitchen on its own is quicker than a full interior fit-out. After an initial discussion I can give you a realistic timeline at estimate stage. Most of the examples on my Facebook page have taken 4 - 6 weeks.
Can I bring my own design ideas?
Yes — that is exactly how a bespoke job works. Bring sketches, photos or Pinterest boards. I can offer practical advice on the design, layout and materials.
How much does it cost?
Every job is different, so prices vary with the scope, materials and how much carpentry is involved. Contact me with as much information as possible for a quote.
Which vans do you work on?
Fiat Ducato, Citroën Relay, Peugeot Boxer, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, VW Crafter and similar large panel vans. Smaller bases like the VW Transporter and Ford Custom too.
I have already bought my own wood can this be used?
Yes. I am happy to use whatever materials you wish so long as I'm confident it will work!
Do you do electrics or gas?
No I am not qualified for Gas or Electric. I focus on carpentry and woodwork installation. Electrics, gas and plumbing are handled by the customer or their own specialists who can sign them off.
What type of finish do you provide?
I specialise in bare plywood and real wood as opposed to furniture board. The ply can be left bare for the customer to paint or I can provide a painting service should you require it. I can provide live edge birch worktops sealed and waxed, and reclaimed wood cladding for that rustic finish. All wood is sanded and all edges sealed. The back of walls and ceilings are treated also leaving the front bare to be finished as per the customers wishes. Most customers take the van home with a bare finish then apply their own colour scheme afterwards. A mixture of wood and paint looks fantastic!
What is the key to a successful build?
Research and clear direction from the customer! A build will run smoothly and to timescales and budget If the Customer has a clear idea of what they want before the build starts! I am happy to discuss design beforehand to help you decide on layout and finish.
